Corrections policy

We correct errors quickly and say plainly what changed. Silent edits to factual content are not permitted.

How corrections work

  • Correction: a factual error is fixed and a dated note is added at the top of the article explaining what was wrong.
  • Update: new developments are added with a timestamp; the original reporting remains visible.
  • Clarification: accurate but ambiguous wording is rewritten and noted.
  • Retraction: if a story's central claim cannot be supported, it is retracted with an explanation and removed from our news feeds.

Requesting a correction

Email corrections@ccsuniversity.org with the article URL, the passage in question and any supporting documentation. We acknowledge requests within one business day and publish any resulting correction within two.

Article integrity

Published URLs are permanent. Articles are not deleted to satisfy commercial or promotional requests, and headline changes that alter meaning are recorded in the correction note.
