Google News — square logo

Publisher Center requires a square logo of at least 512 × 512 px; 1000 × 1000 px is recommended. Use the transparent file unless a solid background is required.

The rectangular logo should be a wide wordmark on a transparent background, ideally 1000 × 120 px, with the publication name legible at small sizes.

Usage rules

• Do not stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects to the mark.
• Keep clear space around the logo equal to at least the height of the medallion on every side.
• Use the reversed wordmark on dark backgrounds; never place the dark wordmark on a colour that reduces contrast below 4.5:1.
• Minimum rectangular logo width on screen: 160 px.
• Brand colours: ink #22262B, gold #E8A317, paper #F7F4EE.
